The Untitled Space is pleased to present its curated online exhibition for Foundations 2026 on Artsy, featuring three exceptional emerging artists: Synchrotania (Tania Shcheglova), Isabella Ronchetti, and Xinyan Yu. Presented as part of Artsy's Foundations 2026 initiative, the exhibition brings together a compelling selection of contemporary works by artists whose practices exemplify innovation, technical excellence, and distinct conceptual voices.
Created to introduce collectors to the next generation of contemporary artists, Foundations 2026 showcases emerging and early-career talent from leading small and mid-size galleries around the world. Through dedicated gallery presentations, the initiative encourages audiences to discover new artistic voices while collecting with confidence.
The Untitled Space's presentation highlights three artists whose practices span photography, painting, and multidisciplinary experimentation, each exploring themes of identity, transformation, memory, and the relationship between humanity and the natural world.
Synchrotania (Tania Shcheglova) (b. 1989, Ukraine) presents photographic works that blur the boundaries between staged documentary, performance, and installation. Following her internationally recognized career as one half of the acclaimed artist duo Synchrodogs, Shcheglova launched her independent practice in 2023, developing a deeply personal body of work exploring consciousness, intuition, and humanity's connection to nature. She is the founder of Innerland, an ongoing global photographic archive that pioneers the concept of "Inner World Portraiture." Her recent achievements include receiving the 2025 ArtPrize Juried Grand Prize, alongside international recognition from PhotoVogue, the Sony World Alpha Female Award, and the International Photography & Fine Art Awards. Her work has been exhibited internationally at institutions including Dallas Contemporary, the Museum of Fine Arts, Boston, Benaki Museum, PinchukArtCentre, Palais de Tokyo, Guy Hepner Gallery, and Annenberg Space for Photography. Through immersive, dreamlike imagery, Shcheglova explores the relationship between inner consciousness and the natural world.
Italian-American artist Isabella Ronchetti brings a playful yet psychologically complex approach to contemporary painting. She holds a BA in Graphic Design & Art Direction from NABA in Milan, Italy, and recently completed her MFA in Figurative Painting at the New York Academy of Art. Working across painting, textile, performance, and installation, Ronchetti draws upon depth psychology, philosophy, and popular culture to create richly layered compositions where still life becomes both theater and metaphor. Her vibrant paintings challenge the conventions of representation while examining themes of desire, mortality, confinement, and the historical legacy of painting itself. Ronchetti has presented solo exhibitions at Siddhartha Art Gallery in Kathmandu and Satellite Art Show in Miami, and her work has been exhibited at Phillips Auction's Take Home a Nude fundraiser, Culture Lab LIC, Palazzo Gagliardi Museum in Italy, and The Bridge Arts Foundation in Los Angeles. She is the recipient of the Izabela Depczyk Scholarship at the New York Academy of Art and participated in the Kathmandu International Artists Residency at Space A in 2025. Balancing wit with existential inquiry, her work transforms familiar objects into emotionally charged protagonists inhabiting carefully constructed worlds.
Xinyan Yu (b. 1988, Changchun, China) presents luminous oil paintings inspired by memory, migration, motherhood, and the body's capacity for transformation. Her life and artistic practice span China, the United Kingdom, and the United States, informing a visual language grounded in embodied perception and emotional experience. She is currently an MFA Candidate in Fine Arts at the School of Visual Arts, New York, expected to graduate in 2028. Yu's work has been exhibited at Hudson Valley MOCA, New Bedford Art Museum, Viridian Artists Gallery, BAU Gallery, Suffolk Art Gallery, and other venues throughout the United States. Through organic forms, gestural movement, and radiant color, she creates atmospheric compositions that move fluidly between abstraction and figuration, evoking psychological landscapes where emotion, nature, and bodily perception converge. Her paintings reflect cycles of vulnerability, resilience, and renewal while exploring the invisible forces that connect personal experience with the natural world.
Together, these three artists represent a dynamic cross-section of emerging contemporary practice, united by an interest in transformation, interiority, and the evolving language of visual storytelling. Through distinct artistic approaches, they invite viewers into immersive worlds that challenge perception while offering deeply personal reflections on contemporary life.

Founded in 2015 by artist and curator Indira Cesarine, The Untitled Space is a contemporary art gallery in Tribeca, New York, dedicated to presenting thought-provoking exhibitions featuring emerging and established artists.
