The Untitled Space is pleased to present “The DREAM Exhibition,” a group show curated by artist and gallery founder Indira Cesarine in collaboration with The Untitled Magazine. On view from September 21 through October 3, 2026, the exhibition brings together more than 50 contemporary artists whose works explore the subconscious, memory, symbolism, transformation, and imagined realities. Across a wide range of mediums and perspectives, the featured artists consider the many worlds that emerge when imagination is given space to lead, from intimate psychological landscapes and altered states of perception to visionary futures and realities beyond the familiar.
The exhibition will officially launch with a reception on Friday, September 25, beginning with a VIP and press preview from 5:00 to 6:00 PM, followed by an opening reception from 6:00 to 9:00 PM. An after-party featuring special performances will follow, with additional details to be announced.
Dreams can be private, mysterious, and deeply personal. They surface through memory, desire, symbolism, fantasy, and the subconscious, revealing what may remain hidden in waking life. Dreams can also be declarations of possibility. They are the visions carried forward, the futures waiting to be manifested, and the first sparks of ideas that have not yet taken form.

At a moment when reality can feel increasingly unstable, the ability to imagine beyond the present is more vital than ever. Artists allow audiences to cross that threshold. They give shape to the unseen, transform memory into material, and create worlds that challenge the limits of what is considered possible. Spanning painting, photography, sculpture, collage, video, and installation, “The DREAM Exhibition” approaches dreaming not simply as an escape from reality, but as a means of reinterpreting and transforming it.
Throughout the exhibition, submerged bodies, fragmented identities, celestial landscapes, hidden gardens, alternative futures, mythological figures, hybrid beings, and portals into unfamiliar realities move between the intimate and the cosmic. Some works originate in literal dreams, while others emerge from intuition, meditation, personal memory, or the determination to envision a different world. Together, they reveal the subconscious not as a distant realm, but as a powerful creative language.

Photographer and mixed-media artist Reka Nyari presents work from “Immortal Ink,” her series of monumental portraits reimagining tattooed women as goddesses and creators. Painter Reisha Perlmutter considers the meeting point of body, water, perception, and memory through luminous figures suspended beneath shifting surfaces and refracted light. Airco Caravan creates protest art disguised as irresistible consumer products, pairing candy-colored surfaces with pointed social and political commentary. Mexican painter Carolina Pavia constructs psychological worlds rooted in surrealism, in which women cross thresholds, emerge from cocoons, and merge with flowers, insects, and animals. These artists represent just a few of the compelling voices featured in the exhibition, whose works provoke, inspire, and invite audiences to imagine beyond the boundaries of the familiar.

“As an artist and creative, I have always been inspired by both the subconscious world of dreams and the visions that compel us to create, transform, and reach beyond our reality,” states artist and curator Indira Cesarine. “My own work has long explored symbolism, memory, fantasy, identity, and the subconscious. Looking back, I feel I may have been manifesting this exhibition for years. It has been an incredible journey collaborating with so many visionary artists to bring it to life.”
Every act of creation begins with something intangible: an impulse, an image, a question, a dream. At its core, “The DREAM Exhibition” considers dreaming not only as fantasy or escape, but as creation itself, a force tied to transformation, ambition, imagination, and the power to envision realities beyond limitation. The exhibition celebrates those willing to follow that vision and bring it into the world.

The artists featured in “The DREAM Exhibition” are additionally presented in The DREAM Issue, a special collector’s print edition of The Untitled Magazine, available in softcover magazine format and as a limited-edition hardcover coffee-table book. The edition brings their work into dialogue with notable musicians, designers, photographers, performers, and cultural voices exploring the theme of dreams.
“The DREAM Exhibition” continues a series of collaborations between The Untitled Magazine and The Untitled Space, following special collector’s editions and exhibitions including “THE ART OF RESISTANCE,” “INNOVATE,” and “REBEL.” Together, these projects have brought internationally recognized artists into dialogue with emerging voices shaping contemporary culture. The DREAM Issue celebrates artists and visionaries who follow an intangible impulse, transform imagination into form, and bring new possibilities into the world.
