"Playing in the Fields" captures the pure playfulness of spring. The two-part painting features soft silhouettes of bunnies against raw natural canvas. Designed to be hung side by side, the composition continues across both panels, creating a unified sense of movement and stillness.

Zyginta Barcauskaite (b. 1993, Lithuania) is a painter based in a remote jungle environment. She works with acrylic ink and natural pigments on canvas, creating compositions inspired by the structure, movement, and quiet rhythm of the natural world. She holds a Bachelor of Arts from Arts University Bournemouth in the United Kingdom. Her work has been exhibited internationally in solo and group exhibitions, including Aura Copeland Gallery (Miami), de Mimis Gallery (Amsterdam), VOLTA Art Fair with Art Gotham (New York City), Alluxik Gallery (Mexico), Art House Gallery (Mexico), and Inspire Hub (London). Her paintings are held in private collections across the United States, Europe, and Latin America.

"I paint with acrylic ink and natural pigments on canvas, allowing each piece to emerge intuitively. I’m drawn to the natural balance, softness, and quiet structure found in plants, flowers, and landscapes. My compositions are inspired by how nature arranges itself — organically, harmoniously, and without effort. Living in a remote jungle environment, I’m surrounded by natural beauty that continuously influences my process. My practice is slow and meditative, rooted in observation and emotional presence. I aim to create spaces of stillness and simplicity that mirror the calm I find in nature." - Zyginta Barcauskaite
