Victoria Diana Peach de Lesseps (b. 1994) is a French-American contemporary visual artist whose multidisciplinary practice spans painting, collage, photography, and multimedia work. Based in New York, de Lesseps explores themes of identity, femininity, spiritual transformation, and visual culture through a dynamic and layered approach to image-making. Drawing from both formal training in communication design at Pratt Institute and deeply personal visionary experiences, her work navigates the intersections of the physical and metaphysical realms.
Her recent paintings delve into themes of death, transmutation, illumination, revelation, and rebirth, reflecting what she describes as an alchemical journey of the soul. Engaging dualities of darkness and divinity, pleasure and pain, de Lesseps creates works that explore what lies beyond the veil while honoring the illusions of lived reality. Influenced by her exploration of psychic mediumship and spiritual inquiry, her compositions weave elements of past, present, and future, revealing unseen energies that move through the human experience.
De Lesseps has exhibited widely in New York and internationally. She was first featured at The Untitled Space in “In the Raw: The Female Gaze on the Nude” (2016) and most recently participated in the gallery’s 10th anniversary exhibition, “UPRISE 2025: The Art of Resistance.” Additional exhibitions include a solo presentation at Spring/Break Art Show (2021), solo exhibitions at Another Gallery, Los Angeles (2021) and Ki Smith Gallery, New York (2022), as well as group exhibitions at DKNY Gallery, Milk and Night Gallery, Anderson Contemporary, Salomon Arts Contemporary (Armory Show 2020), Guild Hall (83rd Members Show), LongHouse Reserve, and The Fire Place Project.
