Rizlane is a contemporary visual artist born in Montreal whose practice sits at the intersection of fine art photography and performance. Drawing from her early training in gymnastics and dance, she approaches image-making through the body, exploring ritual, mythology, archetypes, embodiment, and transformation.

Working with long exposure and layered imagery, Rizlane translates movement and gesture into what she calls Tableaux-Photographiques—unique works that extend photography beyond representation into a more tactile and sculptural territory. Her work has been exhibited across Canada and internationally, including in Montreal, New York, and Palm Beach, and has received recognition from the Fine Art Photography Awards, ND Awards, and Chromatic Awards. Her work is held in private and institutional collections, including the private collection of Ballets Jazz Montréal.

“It is important for me to elevate photography to the status of a painting and jewelry; unique, one of one. In a world where everything can be endlessly reproduced, it is essential to my artistic identity to give photography a tangible presence, to make it a rare and singular object.
