Artist Statement:

"The Weeping Rose is a series of photographs exploring the aesthetics of grief and the ways in which it's packaged and sold back to us. The series is named after one of the most successful commercial art prints, "The Weeping Rose" by Vladimir Tretchikoff. The series as a whole is made up of photographs of roses, portraits of women crying, statues and swans—images often associated with loss and beauty frozen in time." - Logan White
