Logan White was born and raised in the Deep American South, where matriarchal myth and Southern Gothic surrealism shaped her exploration of feminine interiority. Her work unfolds through allegorical portraiture and fabulist tableaux that blur the line between spiritual ecstasy and ferality.
Logan White graduated from Rhode Island School of Design in 2007 with a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Photography with Honors and studied in the prestigious European Honors Program in Rome, Italy.
She is the recipient of the 1839 Awards top prize, International Photographer of the Year 2024, and was selected as a Juror's Pick in the LensCulture Portrait Awards, 2024, recognized by Andrew Katz, the Deputy Photo Director of The New Yorker. Her work has appeared in various publications such as the New York Times, the New Yorker, Vogue, Purple, Dazed, and L'Officiel Art Paris. White has exhibited internationally at galleries such as the Hole, Nicelle Beauchene Gallery (New York), Steve Turner Gallery and the Annenberg Space for Photography (Los Angeles), and the Photo Vogue Festival in Milan.
