A self-described Renaissance woman of the modern day, Annika Connor is a Swedish-American painter residing in Brooklyn, NY, where she also owns and operates Annika’s Art Shop. Also, a vocal activist and advocate for women’s rights, Connor's paintings explore themes of female identity and sexuality. They strategically catch the viewer’s eye with their alluring beauty, inviting a deeper contemplation of the wider narratives and allegories they reflect. Connor frequently exhibits at The Untitled Space in New York City, where she has unveiled works ranging from the confrontational and political to the sublime and seductive.
