She received her BFA from Laguna College of Art and Design and her MFA in Painting, with an emphasis in anatomy, from the New York Academy of Art. She has completed residencies at LIA Art Programme in Leipzig, Germany, and the UCROSS Foundation, and her work has been exhibited at Flowers Gallery, Field Projects, Art New York, and Rockefeller Center, with recognition from the \u003cem\u003eHuffington Post, Chaleur,\u003c\/em\u003e and \u003cem\u003eE-VOLVED Magazine\u003c\/em\u003e.\u003cbr\u003e\u003c\/span\u003e\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp dir=\"ltr\"\u003e\u003cspan\u003eWorking primarily in oil on canvas and panel and acrylic on silk, Timmons draws from the landscapes of the West Coast where she was raised.
